About Q.Z. (Qiaolin) Zhao

Introduction

Qiaolin Zhao is  a PhD candidate of Erasmus MC, group of Clinical Pharmacometrics. My research field focuses on population pharmacokinetics study and or population pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics study of drugs by using nonlinear mixed effect model to optimize drug dose. My current population pharmacokinetics study is about paracetamol in spinal muscular atropy. The primary aim of this study is to compare the differences of general pharmacokinetics of plasma paracetamol, paracetamol-sulphate, paracetamol-glucuronide, paracetamol-cysteine and paracetamol-mercapturate (oxidative metabolites), plasma-glutathione between SMA patients and healthy subjects groups.

Field(s) of expertise

  • Pharmaokinetic and Pharmacodynamic modeling
