Introduction

I am a British born sports medicine physician and have been living in Holland since 2001. I love my job at Erasmus where I get to combine seeing patients, doing research and sharing my knowledge through education.

Education and career

I went to medical school in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK. I did sports medicine elective in Melbourne Australia and also worked in Australian outback for 6 months.
I did my sports medicine specialist training at the Hague Medical Centre in Holland (MCH - 2003-2007) Completed my PhD on groin injuries in athletes at the University of Utrecht in 2011
Helped found the Erasmus MC Academic centre for hip and groin injuries in 2017.
