About T.J.J. (Tom) Uyl, MD

Introduction

Graduated as a Medical Doctor and after residency at the Medical Oncology now working as a PhD-student at the Hospital Pharmacy and Medical Oncology at the Erasmus MC. Primarily doing clinical research, investigating the occurrence and prevention of cardiovascular toxicity of anti-cancer treatment, mainly concerning immune checkpoint inhibitors.

Education and career

Started studying Medicine at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam in 2017. Graduated in 2023 as a Medical Doctor at the same university. Worked as a resident (not in training) at the Medical Oncology department of the Erasmus MC.
