About I. (Ivy) Liang

Introduction

After completing my master's degree in Nanobiology at the University of Technology Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam, I had the opportunity to join the Flagship "Convergence in a dish: Individualized CELLular models of disease diversity in the population" as a PhD student. In my project,  I will focus on the mechano-biological interplay between cells and their extracellular environment and how this can lead to tissue fibrosis. I will develop in vitro cell culture models where we can control the environment, so that we can disentangle environmental and genetic factors in fibrosis.
